The "Kinectic Bodies" workshop mainly focuses on the discussion of "Body-Instrument". In other words, our body motions can physically trigger the movement of spatial environment. Moreover, by extending the notion from Animate_Bodies workshop, space itself can be treated as a living creature, so the instrument will no longer be an passive object but an active subject. The interaction between body and space will be more like the chemistry of partners at a dance performance. The tool this workshop will mainly be used is Processing and XBOX Kinect device.
